On Wednesday the 4th of August around 5 o’clock I travelled to Melbourne on a train with Mr Poynton, Ms Murch, Chloe, Rachel, Indi and Jess. We girls stayed at the Medina executive in the penthouse which is on the seventeenth floor, and Mr Poynton stayed in a unit on the seventh floor. We got to the hotel around 8pm and then walked down the road to the place where we were to have dinner. The next day, Thursday the 5th of August we ate breakfast at the same place as we had dinner and then went to the MCG to a cyber safety conference to present our movie and to watch others schools from throughout Victoria present theres too. That night we caught the 6.20 train home and we were picked up by parents around ten.

During the last couple of weeks I and four others have been working on a movie to take to Melbourne for the “Learning online” celebration. This is our Glog that we made for it, its to make kids just like us aware of the people “out there”.

This is a photo of my palm.
My info teacher told me and my other fellow students to upload a picture of each of our hands. I’m not actually that sure of what I have to write about to go with it but I’m just going to go off what the teachers blog said. Which ‘write about what you want to do in your future’. I’m not sure what job I want to do when I get older, I used to want to be a vet but as I got older I realised that you have to get fairly high marks. I know that I most likely wont get high marks. I also realised that I do not like dissecting animals, its absolutely feral. So as I said I still have no idea what I want to be when I’m older.

At my school there has recently been a gastro outbreak. A lot of the students here at Hawkesdale got the sickness. I actually did get the bug but it only lasted for a few days which I am very glad of. One Friday everyone got sent home from our school, the school was told that it needed a clean to get rid of any germs. When we got back to school the next week the school had new soap and hand sanitisers.
I am pretty sure that the gastro outbreak is over now. (:

In our ICT class we have been answering questions for grade 2 students from Boston, they have been studying Australia and would like to know some things.
My question was from Brett he asked “What do you do?”, So I answered…
Well at school I obviously do classes, my favourite class would either be sport or music. In sport we play different games and different types of sports, and in music most of the class plays the guitar but some also play the drums or bass guitar.
After school I don’t play a sport but some of my friends do, some of the sports that they play are netball, football, cricket or even soccer.

Why would there be a global handwashing day?
Becuase it is teaching us to rermember to wash our hand’s on this signifigant day.
What purpose would it have?
To keep us clean, heathy and highgenic. ( :
When you wash your hands it is either when you have dirty or unclean hand’s and you need to have them washed. You should wash your hand’s before you eat, after you pat an animal, after you have been outside, basicly anytime you have germ’s on your hand’s.
